Former Patriots center Bryan Stork is visiting the Jets on Tuesday, a source confirmed.
The Jets are banged up along the offensive line after starting left guard James Carpenter exited Thursday’s win over the Bills with a calf injury.
Carpenter did not practice Monday, and coach Todd Bowles said it is too soon to know if Carpenter will miss Sunday’s game with the Chiefs.
The Jets have Wesley Johnson and Dakota Dozier as internal options to replace Carpenter, but may be exploring Stork as an alternative.
The Patriots released Stork last month after a trade to the Redskins fell apart when Stork failed his physical.
