Jets still focused on this season

FLORHAM PARK, N.J.— It’s nice that general manager Mike Maccagnan is excited about the “very active” offseason he expects the Jets to have, what with the team expecting to have about $100 million in cap space and all.

But the Jets still have this season to play out. If they don’t want it to be a situation of just playing out the string, the Jets know they need a win on Sunday in Miami against the Dolphins.

The Jets (3-5) begin a string of three AFC East matchups in a row. Their only divisional game was a 20-12 loss to the Dolphins (4-4) in Week 2.
