The Jets continued their backfield makeover Thursday, bringing back one familiar face and adding another new one.

The team reached agreements in principle with running backs Bilal Powell and Khiry Robinson, according to sources. They join Matt Forte, who agreed Wednesday to join the Jets.

The team had to replace Chris Ivory, who departed for the Jaguars. They are also letting Stevan Ridley leave as a free agent.

Powell, the team’s fourth-round pick in 2011, emerged as a key piece of their offense last season. He had 70 rushes for 313 yards and a touchdown along with 30 catches for 217 yards and a touchdown.
