There isn't a lot for the Jets to hang their hat on coming out of Saturday night's preseason loss to the Giants as it pertains to the starters. The quarterbacks were dreadful, the line even worse, receivers and tight ends invisible.
Defensively, the unit struggled (understandably so) when the offense continually put them back on the field. When the first half ended, the Giants were up, 29-3.
But all that borderline ineptitude shouldn't hide the fact Sheldon Richardson played like a man possessed.
