Damon “Snacks” Harrison thinks it’s impressive, even if he says so himself. Holding the Dolphins to 12 yards rushing on nine attempts in a 38-20 victory last week, averaged out to 1.3 yards per carry, the lowest by an opponent in franchise history.
“When you can make a team one-dimensional and have them abandon the run altogether it’s a good feeling,” Harrison said Thursday at the Jets practice facility in Florham Park, N.J.
The Jets’ defensive line was most responsible for shutting down Miami, and might be coming together just in time to create new horrors for the Giants’ offense and quarterback Eli Manning.
