According to Ralph Vacchiano, the Jets have signed RB Jahad Thomas after hosting him for a workout on Wednesday and waived RB Jordan Todman to make room for him.
Thomas, 21, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Temple back in May. He stands to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the agreement.
The Cowboys waived Thomas with an injury designation a few weeks ago and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.
