This is Davis' third stint with the Jets. They signed him to their practice squad last Sept. 23, then released him Oct. 14. He was on the Bills' practice squad for three weeks, then came back to the Jets' practice squad from Nov. 16-26 before he was released again.

He entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with San Diego after the 2014 draft and played in the Chargers' first three preseason games before being released Aug.
