The Jets signed tight end Brandon Bostick to the practice squad on Tuesday.
Bostick is best known for failing to recover an onside kick while with the Packers in the NFC Championship game last year against the Seahawks. Green Bay cut Bostick a few weeks later. He spent training camp with the Vikings and was on the Cardinals practice squad this season before getting cut last week.
Bostick’s famed mistake came with a little over two minutes left in the NFC title game and the Packers up 19-14. The Seahawks’ onside kick bounced off his hands and helmet and was recovered by Seattle, which scored a touchdown on the ensuing drive to take the lead.
