The Jets have found their kicker for this season.
After Pro Bowler Jason Myers opted to sign with Seattle on Wednesday, the Jets announced Friday that they signed Chandler Catanzaro, who served as the team's kicker in the 2017 season.
Catanzaro was 25-for-30 (83.3 percent) on field goal attempts, including a franchise-long 57 yarder in a Week 5 win over Cleveland, and converted all 29 of his extra point attempts in his lone season in New York.
Catanzaro signed a three-year, $9.75-million deal with the Buccaneers ahead of the 2018 season but was cut in November after going 11-for-15 (73.
