Over the past six years, you could always tell when it was Patriots week around the Jets’ locker room. The bluster was flying, the adrenaline was flowing and the feeling was always that Sunday’s game was the biggest of the year.
Those days are over.
Coach Todd Bowles wants the Jets to treat Sunday’s AFC East showdown with the undefeated Patriots like it’s just another game on the schedule. This, of course, is the direct opposite approach of his predecessor, Rex Ryan, who treated visits to Foxborough like a mini-Super Bowl.
“Winning this game is not going to make us.
