In an interesting move in Round 4 of the 2018 NFL Draft, the New York Jets decided to add a new tight end to their offense. The Jets drafted tight end Christopher Herndon out of Miami to add more depth to a position that they’re likely to heavily use in their West Coast offense over the next few years.
At 6-4 and 252lbs., Herndon brings versatility and solid receiving skills to the table. As a tight end in three years at Miami, Herndon only got better over time as he was a reliable offensive threat for the Hurricanes.
