Jets’ roster spots up for grabs as training camp nears

Welcome to Camp Competition.

The Jets have plenty of jobs open after revamping their roster this offseason. Expect to hear lots of competition talk from coach Todd Bowles and general manager Mike Maccagnan. The Jets have gotten rid of most of their veterans, leaving young players on the roster fighting for spots.

With training camp beginning Saturday, here is our crack at what the 53-man roster will look like when the season opens Sept. 10 against the Bills:

Quarterbacks

Josh McCown, Christian Hackenberg, Bryce Petty

The question here is not really who will be on the roster, but who will be starting.
