The Jets are taking a long look at him on punt returns. He will battle with veterans Lucky Whitehead and Andre Roberts to be the Jets' return man. They have lacked a dynamic returner in recent years. Cannon did more kickoff returns than punt returns in college, so there could be an adjustment period for him.
