The failed marijuana test is the least of Sheldon Richardson’s problems now.
Nearly two weeks after word got out that the star defensive lineman was suspended four weeks for a failed marijuana test, the defensive lineman was charged with resisting arrest and for endangering a the welfare of a child in the first degree, according to a probable cause statement written by the arresting officer from the O’Fallon, Missouri Police Department that is posted on the St. Charles County prosecuting attorney’s office website.
The officer identified Richardson as the driver of a 2014 Bentley Silver Spur W12 where a handgun was found under the driver’s seat.
