Jets report card: This was nearly a complete failure

Grading the Jets after their 38-3, season-ending loss to the Patriots in Foxborough, Mass., on Sunday:

Offense

The Jets struggled to move the ball all day long. They were playing without receivers Quincy Enunwa and Jermaine Kearse — and they missed them. QB Sam Darnold (16-of-28, 167 yards, 74.6 rating) struggled early but he made some strong throws, enough to boost this grade from an F. WR Deontay Burnett (five catches, 73 yards) showed some promise.

Grade: D

Defense

It is hard to kill them with all of the pieces they were missing.
