Jets report card: Defensive disasters don’t get worse than this

Grades from the Jets’ 44-38 loss to the Packers on Sunday:

Offense

The Jets offense did everything right except shut the door in the fourth quarter. Still, it’s hard to put too much blame on this group, which scored 31 points. QB Sam Darnold (24-of-35, 341 yards, 3 TDs, 128.4 rating) keeps getting better and played his best game of the year. WR Robby Anderson (9 catches, 140 yards, 1 TD) continued his hot play and RB Elijah McGuire scored a rushing and a receiving touchdown.

Grade: A-

Defense

This group has not lived up to its preseason hype when there was hope they could carry this team.
