Jets HC Todd Bowles announced Monday that they are releasing CB Marcus Williams and activating WR Jalin Marshall to the active roster.
Marshall just finished serving his four-game suspension for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing drugs.
Williams, 26, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of North Dakota State back in May of 2014. He was waived from the Texans’ practice squad a few weeks into the regular season before later signing on with the Jets.
Williams played out the final year of his three-year, $1.
