FLORHAM PARK, N.J. — With one week to go until mandatory minicamp, the Jets have decided to release their longest-tenured player, veteran inside linebacker David Harris, and reportedly plan on parting ways with wide receiver Eric Decker.
The team will either release or trade the 30-year-old Decker, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
There had been speculation Decker might be a part of a sweeping roster overhaul in the offseason, when the Jets parted ways with cornerback Darrelle Revis, center Nick Mangold and wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
