Vickerson (6'5", 328), who signed with the Jets as an unrestricted free agent in March, was placed on the Active/Physically Unable to Perform list with a hamstring injury at the start of training camp, then activated off of PUP on Aug. 10, then placed on IR on Sept. 1. He's an eighth-year NFL veteran who had played for Tennessee, Denver and last season for Kansas City.
