Yesterday the Jets announced that claimed two players K Chase McLaughlin and DL Trevon Coley. This was after a rough game for Castillo on Sunday vs the Seahawks. Today the team announced that Sergio Castillo has been released. Castillo was added to the Jets practice squad on Oct. 14 and was signed to the active roster Oct. 31. He started off good but things got shakier from there. In total he made 8 of 15 field-goal attempts and converted 6 of 7 extra-point attempts.
