FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Chris Owusu suffered three concussions in a 13-month span while at Stanford. Now, the Jets receiver, who missed practice Wednesday, is in the concussion protocol for the second time since August.
Coach Todd Bowles said Wednesday that Owusu wasn't diagnosed with a concussion until the team flew to New Jersey after Sunday's loss in New England.
"He felt it after the game and we checked him out," Bowles said of Owusu, who suffered his first concussion with the Jets Aug. 7 during a training camp practice. "Anybody that's had that many, you've got to have some concern for.
