The New York Jets became the fourth team in the NFL Wednesday to reach a settlement over a wage theft lawsuit brought by cheerleaders.
Gang Green has agreed to pay $324,000 to the women who belong to the Jets Flight Crew — the pom-pom waving cheer squad seen on the sidelines.
The women claimed in their class-action lawsuit that they were cheated out of wages, forced to practice without pay and compelled to cover work expenses like transportation, makeup and hair care.
The Jets suit, filed in 2014, is one of five brought against NFL teams alleging labor law violations.
