FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- Jets receiver Quincy Enunwa has been suspended without pay for the team's next four games for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy, the league announced Monday.
Jets coach Todd Bowles confirmed that the suspension stems from Enunwa's Aug. 31, 2014, arrest. He was charged with "domestic violence simple assault," according to the arrest report from Florham Park police, following an alleged altercation with his girlfriend inside a hotel room.
On the 911 call, which was obtained from the Florham Park police, a hotel staffer was heard telling the operator that the "domestic incident" resulted from "a heated argument" and a "woman was injured.
