The New York Jets‘ quest to fill the offense lost by Breece Hall‘s injury is underway.
Per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, the Jets are set to bring in former Jacksonville Jaguars running back James Robinson after head coach Robert Saleh confirmed that the rookie rushing sensation Hall would miss the remainder of the season with a torn ACL. ESPN’s Adam Schefter had the compensation, which is currently a conditional sixth-rounder with the potential to become a fifth.
Another comp update: The conditional 6th-round pick that the Jets traded to the Jaguars for James Robinson will become a 5th-round pick if the RB rushes for 600 yards this season, per source.
