Zach Wilson suffered a sprained PCL in his right knee on Sunday and will be sidelined 2-4 weeks, according to a league source.
Wilson underwent an MRI on Monday that revealed what the Jets expected and certainly hoped. This was the best-case scenario for the Jets and their young quarterback, who could return as early as Nov. 14 against the Bills.
Mike White will run the Jets’ offense until Wilson is ready to return.
Wilson injured his knee in the first half of Sunday’s 54-13 defeat to the Patriots in New England. He was hit from behind by Patriots linebacker Matthew Judon and driven into the turf with all of the weight of Judon on top of him.
