McCown is a team-oriented guy and understands the potential positives that come from just playing Darnold and Bridgewater in a game like this. The Jets needed to get both of their other QBs work to evaluate what they have in each one. After playing all of last season, the Jets know full well what McCown can and can't do. He seems content with that fact and playing the mentor role, at least for now.
Bridgewater's third drive of the night led to the Jets' only points of the second half. He went 7-of-9 for 55 yards during that series, which spanned 13 total plays and 78 yards.
