The New York Jets finally have their starting quarterback on the field again. After missing three-straight games with mononucleosis, Sam Darnold has returned to the team and led them to their first win this past Sunday.
But despite having the most important individual on the offense back and healthy, there’s still one more piece missing from the puzzle.
Tight end Chris Herndon has yet to step on the field this season. The league suspended him for the first four games for violating the substance policy. The second-year pro also missed the Week 6 win over Dallas with a hamstring injury and it’s unclear if he’ll play this coming Sunday.
