On Friday, Todd Bowles called the following a “no s–t” statement: The Jets need to win out to make the playoffs.

And two days later, the Carolina Panthers came into MetLife Stadium and beat Bowles’ team, 35-27, to crush virtually all hope Gang Green will still be playing come January.

The message this week was clear: No more mistakes.

And a few crucial blunders cost the Jets once again.

Leading 20-18 with 12:05 remaining in the fourth quarter, Josh McCown (19-of-36 for 307 yards and three touchdowns) was sacked and fumbled the football. It was scooped up by linebacker Luke Kuechly, who raced 34 yards for the go-ahead touchdown.
