Jets' defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers will not coach against the Broncos on Sunday at MetLife Stadium due to a 'serious' illness.
Rodgers missed his regularly scheduled press conference with reporters at the Jets' facility on Thursday due to a doctor's appointment and was absent from practice on Friday as a result of his health issues, the details of which are unknown.
"He is ill of a nature we can't discuss right now," Jets head coach Todd Bowles said Friday. "We'll see going forward where he is, and go from there.
