Jets owner Woody Johnson is officially in a class of his own, but not in the way he’d like to be. In the NFLPA’s annual player survey, Johnson was 1 of 32; the only owner to earn an “F” from his players for his contribution to team culture.
A myriad of factors likely played a role in this level of discontent, but topping the list, one would imagine, was the firing of head coach Robert Saleh following the team’s 2-3 start. Like him or not, Saleh was loved by his players and were clearly unhappy with the decision.
