FLORHAM PARK — The Jets on Wednesday announced that they placed left tackle Ryan Clady, who has been dealing with a shoulder injury, on injured reserve.
Clady didn't play on offense last week against the Dolphins. Ben Ijalana started in his place.
The Jets traded for Clady this past offseason, and knew he had a recent history of injuries. They hoped he could stay healthy. But he ultimately could not. And now, his season is over. Clady missed all of 2015 with a torn ACL.
The Jets on Wednesday also activated wide receiver Devin Smith off the physically unable to perform list.
