FLORHAM PARK, N.J. -- It's Thanksgiving week, and the New York Jets are playing New England. That makes it impossible not to think of the "Butt Fumble", the Mark Sanchez blooper that occurred on Thanksgiving night (Nov. 22) in 2012.
In a way, not much has changed.
Back then, the Jets entered the game at 4-6, mired in a quarterback controversy -- Sanchez and Tim Tebow. The current Jets are 3-7, embroiled in another controversy -- Ryan Fitzpatrick and Bryce Petty.
The Patriots? They were 7-3 then, and they're 8-2 now, with Tom Brady still flinging touchdown passes all over the place.
