It’s been a long while since we’ve heard any sort of optimism about the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers’ trade discussions involving Aaron Rodgers. But on Monday night, Yahoo Sports’ senior NFL reporter, Charles Robinson, provided a small glimmer of hope.
According to multiple sources, Robinson reported a deal between the Packers and Jets is “taking shape” and getting “closer”. However, Robinson says a key holdup in the negotiations is whether the Jets will receive any sort of “give back” protection if Rodgers does not play in the 2024 season.
