PHOENIX — Jets CEO Christopher Johnson expects some spirited practices when training camp begins this summer.
New coach Adam Gase and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams both have reputations for doing a lot of talking during practice, and everyone around the Jets expects the level of competition to rise in practice as the two coaches try to outdo each other.
“It might be fun,” Johnson said at the Annual League Meeting. “It might be spicy.”
Anyone who watched “Hard Knocks” last summer saw Williams going at it with Browns offensive coordinator Todd Haley in practice.
