Lee aims to improve this season in coverage from his inside linebacker position. And he almost had an interception Tuesday ... but not quite. Josh McCown threw a pass that Lee nearly picked off — it appeared to go through his hands — but it wound up landing in ArDarius Stewart's hands, as the receiver made a terrific, one-handed grab on the run. Tough break for Lee.

He had a cast on his left wrist, while he observed practice from the sideline. The cornerback has dealt with injuries throughout his career. Jets coach Todd Bowles said Claiborne is dealing with a bruised wrist — believe him if you actually want — and might be ready for training camp.
