The New York Jets offense is still offensive. The team failed yet again to find the end zone in a 16-12 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in yet another penalty filled contest. The Jets were flagged eight times and despite outgaining the Raiders 365-274 with 99 net passing yards. But the Raiders got 116 yards on the ground out of Josh Jacobs for an offense that got a late TD when Aiden O’ Connell hit fellow rookie Michael Mayer in the back of the end zone.
Meanwhile, each time the Jets got something going on offense they shot themselves in the foot.
