Jets center Nick Mangold introduced Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Saturday morning at a campaign rally in Dayton, Ohio.
Mangold is from Kettering, Ohio, near Dayton. He played at Ohio State.
He previously donated $1,700 to New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's presidential campaign, which fizzled out. It isn't clear if Mangold also donated to other presidential campaigns.
It doesn't appear Mangold has officially endorsed a presidential candidate. But his public support of Trump comes after Christie endorsed Trump, who has run a controversial and polarizing campaign.
Mangold's introduction of Trump happened a day after Trump cancelled a rally in Chicago, as protestors there clashed with Trump supporters.
