Jets-New England Patriots unlikely to be flexed to prime time, source says

With the Jets sitting pretty at 3-1 heading into the bye, it's impossible not to start eyeing their matchup with the unbeaten Patriots in Foxborough on Oct. 25.

(Yes, yes. We know the Jets still have to play Washington, and the Patriots have got the Cowboys and Colts standing in the way between now and then. Work with us here.)

Just don't look for that 1 p.m. Jets-Pats kickoff to get bumped to prime time.

The NFL can begin flexing Sunday afternoon games to Sunday night beginning with Week 5, which happens to be this weekend.
