The Jets’ pass protection isn’t the only thing under construction. Their run game needs some repairing, too.
The system first-time offensive coordinator Mike LaFleur brought to the Jets is predicated on the run. But almost every time the Jets ran the ball in their opening week loss to the Panthers all lanes were closed.
The Jets rushed 17 times for 45 yards. Twenty-eight different players ran for more yards than the Jets on Sunday.
