Things have gone from bad to worse for the Jets.
Defensive lineman Nathan Shepherd told NFL.com that he’s facing a six-game suspension for two violations of the NFL’s PED policy.
Shepherd, 25, failed tests on June 27 and July 25, according to the report, as he recovered from shoulder and groin injuries.
“All that was going on, I was coming off of a subpar season and a new coaching staff, new playbook, new everything,” Shepherd, who was inactive in Week 1, told the website. “In my mindset, I didn’t feel very confident with how everything had gone thus far.
