Brian Callahan won't be joining the Jets after all. Or the Titans for that matter.
Callahan will be the Raiders' quarterbacks coach on Jon Gruden's new staff, according to The Tennessean, which reported the Titans did not offer him a job.
The Jets interviewed Callahan for their quarterbacks coach opening, and the Titans interviewed him for their offensive coordinator vacancy on Mike Vrabel's new staff.
Callahan, the Lions' former quarterbacks coach, was a highly sought-after assistant. Oakland is familiar territory for his family. His father, Bill, was Gruden's offensive coordinator with the Raiders from 1998-2001.
