FLORHAM PARK -- The Jets' No. 1 running back, Matt Forte, fully participated in practice Tuesday, for the first time in almost a month.
And Forte, who has missed most of training camp with a Grade 1 hamstring strain, believes he definitely will be ready for the Sept. 10 season opener in Buffalo.
"No doubt," Forte said, after the Jets' 17th camp practice.
He was injured July 31, in the Jets' third camp practice. He hadn't participated in any 11-on-11 team periods from then until Tuesday.
He hasn't played in either of the Jets' first two preseason games.
