The Jets will be looking for a new director of college scouting for the second straight year.
Matt Bazirgan, who took over the position a year ago, is leaving to become the director of player personnel for the Texans. Bazirgan replaced Rex Hogan, who left for the Colts last year.
Bazirgan had been with the Jets since 2004. He was a college area scout for eight years before becoming assistant director of pro personnel and then pro personnel director. He began his Jets career as an intern and college scouting assistant in 2004.
