The Jets are losing their director of college scouting, Matt Bazirgan, to the Texans, according to the Houston Chronicle.
Bazirgan is expected to become the Texans' director of player personnel -- a promotion for him. He was one of Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan's top lieutenants.
The Texans have a new general manager, former Jets scout Brian Gaine, and he has cleaned house. He fired Jimmy Raye, the team's assistant general manager and vice president of player personnel.
Front office and scouting personnel typically see turnover after the NFL Draft, so the timing of this move for Bazirgan is not surprising.
