FLORHAM PARK -- Jets outside linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin on Tuesday responded to a lawsuit filed by a man who alleges Mauldin slugged him in the face at a New York nightclub.
"Of course, I was shocked," Mauldin said as the Jets began a three-day minicamp. "But everything that's going on right now, it's pending. We don't know what the outcome is going to be. And you guys [reporters] can just refer to my attorney if you have any questions."
Mauldin's attorney, Mitch Schuster, has said Mauldin did not punch Jean Lopez, 22.
