Josh Martin is back in concussion protocol.
Todd Bowles called it “alarming” because this is the second time in a little more than five weeks that Martin has suffered a concussion.
The Jets' starting outside linebacker sustained a head injury in the third preseason game on Aug. 24. He just cleared protocol Thursday. Martin made his debut in Sunday’s loss to Jacksonville and played just 19 snaps before leaving the game.
“It is definitely alarming,” Bowles said. “He was out about a month the first time it happened and he came right back and another one happened.
