EAST RUTHERFORD -- Jets standout defensive end Leonard Williams left Saturday night's preseason game against the Giants with an injured wrist.

The team listed Williams as questionable to return. It's unclear when Williams injured his wrist, but trainers took him back to the locker room with 7:39 left in the second quarter and the Jets trailing 19-3.

Coach Todd Bowles will address the media after the game. Williams didn't have a tackle before leaving the game.

Williams, 23, is arguably the Jets' best defensive player. A first-round pick in 2015, Williams burst onto the scene last year.
