Lorenzo Mauldin was carted off the field after a scary incident at MetLife Stadium on Sunday afternoon. CBS reported that Mauldin was transported via ambulance to the hospital.
After sacking Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel and causing a fumble, the linebacker appeared to injure his head or neck during the ensuing scrum for the football. He tried to get to his feet at first, but then quickly collapsed to the turf.
Trainers and Jets teammates surrounded Mauldin before he was immobilized, lifted on a stretcher and then carted off the field with 12:49 to play.
