GLENDALE, Ariz. -- David Harris' Iron Man streak is over.
The New York Jets' middle linebacker, who suffered a hamstring injury last week, was declared inactive Monday night against the Arizona Cardinals, ending his streak of 121 consecutive starts. It came as no surprise, as Harris was listed as doubtful after missing practice last week.
Harris hadn't missed a game since 2008, his second year in the league. His streak was the longest for an active linebacker and second longest among current defensive players, behind Dallas Cowboys cornerback Brandon Carr (131).
