PITTSBURGH -- The New York Jets suffered a key injury in Sunday's game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as linebacker David Harris left in the second quarter with a hamstring injury. He didn't return to the game.
Erin Henderson moved into the middle linebacker role, replacing Harris as a signal caller. The injury was a blow to the Jets' struggling defense, which was making too many mental errors even with Harris in the lineup.
This means the Jets are down two of their defensive leaders: Harris and cornerback Darrelle Revis (hamstring), who was declared inactive for Sunday's game.
